Young peoples' groups and events update
Published: Tuesday, November 12, 2024
It's been a busy few weeks for our young people!
Some came along to our 8-12’s event and took part in Djembe drumming, along with making biscuits and other arts and crafts, as well as celebrating Diwali. The teenagers had an opportunity to take part in making music, creating lyrics and recording their creations in the recording studio. They created an amazing track.
Adoption England recently held a young people’s conference, where over 60 professionals and other young people from other adoption agencies were present. A few of our young people gave a presentation about the Voices of Adoption group and helped to facilitate a workshop. The professionals present gave positive feedback about how well they spoke and how helpful hearing their views had been.
