Young people are relying on technology for education and entertainment much more during the Coronavirus pandemic. We wanted to highlight some really useful resources Thinkuknow have put together about online safety:
Simple 15 minute activities that families can do to support their child's online safety at home. Packs are available for ages 4 to 14+ and parents can also watch the video guides on different online safety topics.
Bitesize activities and worksheets based on Thinkuknow home activity packs that can be delivered to children and young people face-to-face. These toolkits can be used with ages 5 to 14+.
Online toolkits for online delivery (Primary)
Adapted versions of Thinkuknow online safety toolkits for ages 5 to 10 with editable slides and video lessons for use online. Further resources for use with secondary aged young people will be available soon.
Reporting to Child Exploitation and Online Protection Command (CEOP) video for teenagers
A short video for teenagers explaining the CEOP reporting process, including what to expect if they make a report.
It's important to continue to be aware of online safety issues and we would encourage you to look at our internet safety page for further information and resources.
